Master Bedroom

Bay windows really are the defining feature of a classic villa – so what better place for the master bedroom?

The bay window bedroom itself was a pretty modest size (the walk-in wardrobe and en-suite took up a fair bit of room).  We choose dark wallpaper and set the bed against and black velvet curtains to create a cosy, moody feel – and the illusion of space.

We are big fans of sheer curtains being heavy velvet – and this was a winning combo here, allowing the sheers to be used in the day to create privacy from the street, and a real little haven.
