Hallway

It’s not often a hallway gets its own mention, but this one was a real exception!

Originally, the space was a total jumble. We widened the whole hallway to 1.4 meters, and sourced some art deco style chandeliers to make a big impact. The placement of the lighting led you down into the living area where the largest light hung in all its glory over the dining table.

We kept the original floorboards, which were sanded and stained dark to match the new floorboards in the extension. We loved the effect this all had – maintained the character and irregularity in texture of the original flooring.
